Biography

Dan is a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist specialising in the delivery of CBT for anxiety disorders, depression, low self-esteem and misophonia. His current NHS  psychotherapy role is at the  Oxford Health Specialist Psychological Intervention Centre, He is also a course lead, tutor and supervisor at the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre.

He has worked in mental health services for 20 years joining Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust in 2003 as a specialist mental health pharmacist. In 2009 he began his training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre, University of Oxford. he completed his initial training and became accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies in 2012. He has subsequently completed an MSc and DPhil (Doctorate) in CBT at the University of Oxford finishing his studies in 2021.

 
In addition to working in specialist NHS treatment centres and helping many people struggling with depression and anxiety disorders, he has recently joined a small number of clinical experts pioneering CBT treatment for misophonia including Dr Tom Graham, and led by Dr Jane Gregory.
